About the Mississippi Chapter of ACEP

Mississippi ACEP is the local chapter of national ACEP, the American College of Emergency Physicians. Founded in 1976, the chapter actively represents nearly 200 emergency physicians, residents, and medical students in Mississippi.

We are actively involved in a wide range of issues that matter to emergency physicians and our patients, including emergency medical services, public health and safety, and disaster preparedness and response.

Mississippi ACEP is a diverse and democratic organization that promotes and preserves the integrity and independence of emergency medical practice. Membership in the Mississippi chapter and national ACEP provides a wide range of member benefits, from representation in the state capitol to Annals of Emergency Medicine.
